Bryan White is a veteran electric and acoustic bassist residing in Asheville, NC. A member of the Asheville music scene for over 10 years now, he has established himself as a solid, in-demand bassist with a wide variety of artists and in a variety of styles. While primarily a jazz bassist/composer on double bass, Bryan has recently been working heavily with singer-songwriters and popular music artists, bringing a unique voice and approach on 4 and 5-string fretted and fretless electric basses to recent projects by Nikki Talley, Leigh Glass & The Hazards, and of course, Brushfire Stankgrass. His eclectic tastes have brought him in contact with musicians and styles from both coasts, ranging from West Coast Jazz/Fusion and AOR to Folk/Country/Bluegrass and NYC Jazz here on the East Coast. In such an eclectic, burgeoning music scene, diversity is the key to being successful and in-demand.

For 2011, Bryan's projects include promotion of his new solo/ambient CD 'Grey Matters', new studio discs by Brushfire Stankgrass and Leigh Glass & The Hazards, and a revival of 'Done For The Evening', his jazz trio with Frank Southecorvo.
